- Preparation: Wet preserved — fixed and ready for long-term storage in alcohol
- Color: Grayish pink in person — photos may appear more purple due to lighting

Shipping
Ships dry — specimen is shipped without liquid. To maintain preservation, store in 70% isopropyl alcohol upon receipt. Isopropyl alcohol is widely available at most dollar stores and pharmaceutical retailers. It will still come with the jar pictured.
